Business Council

The Business Council comprises New Mexico business leaders who together contribute more than $200,000 annually in financial support and in-kind services to support the Museum of New Mexico Foundation's museums, monuments and Office of Archaeological Studies.

Connecting art, culture and commerce, the Business Council provides members with valuable networking opportunities through and engaging calendar of events at our museums and other cultural institutions.

All Business Council Members Receive:

Networking opportunities at member-only events; Membership cards in your business name, which grant free museum and monument admission for one year; Recognition in Member News magazine, on the walls inside four museums (at $1,500 or above), on our website and our bi-monthly e-newsletter; 10% discount our cafés and shops, including online at newmexicocreates.org and worldfolkart.org and on El Palacio advertising; Complimentary subscription to El Palacio magazine and member e-newsletter; Tax-deductible donation that supports art and culture in your community. Plus,

Benefactor $500 to $1,499 (all but $50 tax-deductible)
Includes all of the above benefits.

Regents' Council $1,500 to $2,499 (all but $60 tax-deductible)
Includes general Business Council benefits plus 10 guest passes for your clients or employees; recognition in the Business Council brochure, museum publications, on donor walls in the museums and in an annual newspaper ad.

Governor's Council $2,500 to $4,999 (all but $75 tax-deductible)
Includes general Business Council benefits, Regents' Council benefits, plus 10 guest passes for your clients and employees; select invitations to exclusive programs and events designed especially for upper-level members

National Council $5,000 to $9,999 (all but $125 tax-deductible)
Includes general Business Council benefits, Regents' and Governors' Council benefits, plus 20 guest passes for your clients or employees; discounts on memberships for your employees; opportunity to host a private tour, meeting or retreat in the museum of your choice for up to 15 people.

Chairman's Council $10,000 to $24,999 (all but $125 tax-deductible)
Includes general Business Council benefits; Regents', Governor's and National Council benefits; plus 20 guest passes for your clients or employees; opportunity to host a Business Council or member event.

Director's Council $25,000 and above (all but $125 tax-deductible)
Includes general Business Council benefits; Regents' Governor's, National and Chairman's Council benefits, plus 20 guest passes for your clients and employees; opportunity to sponsor a museum exhibition or program, which comes with a custom package of benefits and forms of recognition.
