Library Open House
Artist societies of New Mexico
What do Los Cinco Pintores, the Transcendental Painting Group, the Taos Society of Artists, Santa Fe Women Artists Exhibiting Group, the Rio Grande Painters, the New Mexico Painters Society, and La Cofradia de Artes y Artesanos Hispanicos have in common? They were all artist collectives formed in New Mexico during the 20th century. Come to the New Mexico Museum of Art Library and Archives and read about who these groups were, why they formed and what they accomplished.
The New Mexico Museum of Art Library and Archives is your resource for exploring art, art history, design and architecture.
