FOCA Members Preview of Art on the Edge
6 pm - 8 pm
This is your chance to meet the artists chosen for this year's Art on the Edge, the FOCA sponsored biennial that runs from April 16 to August 1, 2010. Enjoy a private reception for the artists and see the show the evening before the public opening. Then join Art on the Edge curator Nicholas Baume for a lecture at 6 pm on Friday, April 16th in St. Francis Auditorium, at the New Mexico Museum of Art.

SOFA, the international exposition of sculpture, objects and functional art comes to Santa Fe again and includes an event organized by FOCA to benefit the New Mexico Museum of Art. Tickets will be available in advance or at the door. Watch this site for more information!

FOCA Members Preview of Johnnie Winona Ross and John Tinker Exhibitions
6 pm - 8 pm
Join us to celebrate the opening of two concurrent one-person shows by New Mexico artists Johnnie Winona Ross and John Tinker. Ross's exhibition features new work done in the artist's signature style of painting, characterized by a reductive vocabulary and luscious surfaces. Tinker's show will highlight the artist's sculptural work from the past decade.

FOCA Studio Tour in Taos
11 pm - 5 pm
Get on the bus for our annual tour of New Mexico artists' studios. Join New Mexico Museum of Art curator Laura Addison as she leads an excursion to Taos to visit with accomplished NM artists. This tour features Johnnie Winona Ross, in conjunction with his exhibition at NMMOA. The annual studio tour is a chance to see where artists hone and apply their craft and is always a resounding success!

FOCA Tour of Tamarind Institute

Visit America's premiere center for lithography in Tamarind's brand new Albuquerque facility and tour Tamarind Touchstones: Fabulous at Fifty. This 50th Anniversary Exhibit is at the University of New Mexico Art Museum and honors this seminal cultural mainstay's legacy.
