The Friends of Folk Art is a Museum of New Mexico Foundation support group for the Museum of International Folk Art. Each year the group offers an array of educational and cultural programs for members within a social setting. The Friends of Folk Art work to promote and support the museum's curatorial, educational and scientific programs and helps supplement its operations through volunteer services and fund or item solicitation.

With an emphasis on folk art, food, friendship and fun, the Friends of Folk Art is an educational and social membership group affiliated with the Museum of International Folk Art. The wide ranging programs and events expose members to new corners of the art world.
Members enjoy sharing their love of folk art, international travel, ethnic culture and cuisine.
