For more than 50 years, donors like you have enabled the Foundation to provide support to the Museum of New Mexico system, together working to preserve and enhance our state’s rich culture. All gifts that benefit our four museums, six historic monuments and Office of Archaeological Studies are made through the Foundation. While the State of New Mexico budget covers only salaries and basic utilities, your gift to the Foundation provides the support necessary for exhibitions, acquisitions, education and outreach, conservation, docent and volunteer training and public programming.

When you give to the Foundation, you can contribute to the general fund or designate your donation for a specific purpose. Any gift can be made in honor of or as a memorial to someone in your life.  However you choose to give, your generosity will be properly recognized and appreciated by all who treasure art, history and culture. If you are considering a contribution to the Foundation, here are the different ways to give:

Membership
Provides revenues that support the Foundation's ability to deliver essential services to our cultural institutions, while offering members a number of benefits to enjoy.

The Circles
Leadership-level membership that gives you access to a series of exclusive events.

Business Council Membership and Sponsorship
Aligns your business as a supporter of the museums, provides community recognition, and awards benefits to you, your business, clients and employees.

Fund for Museum Education
Directly funds museum education and outreach programs, including hands-on activities, field trips and exhibition-related activities for 335,000 youth and adults annually.

Exhibitions Development Fund
Allows you to support a season of exhibitions and their related programming at the museum of your choice.

Legacy Gift
Provides a lasting impact on our cultural institutions through an estate gift, bequest or gift of art to commemorate your commitment to your favorite museum, division or the Foundation.

Endowment
Establishes a new fund or adds to the principal of an existing fund to provide a reliable source of annual income that sustains a variety of cultural programs and purposes.

Charitable Gift Annuity
Provides $10,000 or more through a charitable annuity that returns fixed annual payments to yourself or your loved ones while making a significant contribution to the museums or the Foundation.
