Planned Giving
Maggy Ryan Legacy Society
In 1994, Santa Fe fiber artist Maggy Ryan bequeathed a substantial charitable remainder trust to the Museum of New Mexico Foundation as a way to perpetuate her passion for the state’s museums and art education. In designing a planned gift, Ryan created a “living legacy” that would continue beyond her lifetime to benefit future generations.
Today, the Foundation’s Maggy Ryan Legacy Society honors Ryan’s memory, her generous investment in New Mexico’s cultural treasurers, and those who have made planned gifts to the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. This special group of people enjoys gatherings, special viewings at the museums, and the satisfaction of making a difference in the future of the organizations they love.
To join the Maggy Ryan Legacy Society, simply inform us of your plans. Please visit the Letter of Intent Form or Sample Bequest Language to begin.
