Support the New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors

Education

As a center for historical research, education and lifelong learning, the New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors offer unique educational programs. These illuminate the state’s history by engaging visitors in hands-on projects and workshops, lectures, film screenings, performances and other exhibition-related and history-inspired activities.

The museum offers a full annual calendar of youth and adult programs. Museum educators also work with public schools and community organizations to create interactive exhibition tours and museum-based projects. These support school curricula, foster critical thinking and enhance developmental skills.
