Support the New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors
As a center for historical research, education and lifelong learning, the New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors offer unique educational programs. These illuminate the state’s history by engaging visitors in hands-on projects and workshops, lectures, film screenings, performances and other exhibition-related and history-inspired activities.
The museum offers a full annual calendar of youth and adult programs. Museum educators also work with public schools and community organizations to create interactive exhibition tours and museum-based projects. These support school curricula, foster critical thinking and enhance developmental skills.
Your gifts to the New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors Education Fund through the Museum of New Mexico Foundation ensure that these dynamic programs and learning opportunities are available to all who visit the museum. You may also opt to give to the Foundation’s Fund for Museum Education. This fund supports education programs at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture as well as at our three other affiliated state museums in Santa Fe, seven historic sites statewide and the Office of Archaeological Studies.
