Museum of New Mexico Foundation Privacy Policy

he Museum of New Mexico Foundation is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our members, visitors, customers, donors, and friends.

We routinely collect contact information (such as street address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address); transactional information (such as information collected in connection with the purchase of tickets, memberships and member programs, and retail purchases); information collected in connection with newsletter and e-mail subscriptions; and information about donations made to the foundation. In addition, we use technology to collect a wide range of statistical information about the use of our Web site. For example, we currently use technology to determine how visitors access the Web site (this information may include the name of the visitor's Internet service provider or the type of Web browser used) and which pages they view. This technology does not identify visitors personally - it simply enables the foundation to compile statistics about our site visitors and the use of the site.

We want you to know that the Museum of New Mexico Foundation has a strict policy that we will not sell, share or trade your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address or any other information about you with any third party. This includes other museums, sponsors, other fundraising organizations, businesses or for-profit concerns as well as political candidates, parties or campaign organizations. We also strive to prevent you from receiving any unsolicited information from us.

For corrections and updates: You may request to be removed from our email distribution list at any time. Please email us (membership@museumfoundation.org) to correct your email address or to optout of email communications.

You should also know that our websites have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control, and that we routinely monitor these security measures to ensure that they are up-to-date and that security standards and practices are in place to protect against unauthorized access.
