The Museum of New Mexico Foundation leads the private sector effort to support four state museums in Santa Fe and seven historic monuments across New Mexico. In addition to direct financial support, the Foundation provides essential support services to the museums and monuments, valued well over $1 million each year.

Always looking to improve on our commitment to promoting and preserving New Mexico's cultural assets, the Board of Trustees approved a strategic plan to address four primary challenges for the Foundation, those include fund raising, audience development, advocacy and systemic barriers.
