Stuffed Windows Collage Studio Workshop with Faith Purvey

Join the Vladem Contemporary’s Window Box artist, Faith Purvey, for a day of artmaking. This 2D+3D workshop considers the conceptual and material ways of constructing memory. Participants will engage in a series of prompts, and produce their own personal and meaningful "stuffed window", utilizing Faith’s installation of the same title as a jumping-off point. Participants are encouraged to bring small objects, materials and/or photos/pictures that are meaningful to them, contain memory, or just look or feel interesting, but materials will be provided. This workshop will be playful and poetic, and everyone, regardless of artistic skill, is welcome!
