Fort Stanton LIVE!
Fort Stanton Historic Site and Fort Stanton, Inc. are excited to welcome people back to Lincoln County for the annual Fort Stanton Live celebration! Visitors can expect infantry and artillery demonstrations, presentations from writers and historians, quilters, weavers, potters, site tours, food vendors, and live performances from period-appropriate bands. Dancers from Mescalero Apache Tribe will perform on the parade grounds, and other members from Mescalero will serve Indian tacos and display arts and crafts.

Children’s Activities at the Nurses Quarters Courtyard
Spencer Jackson Minstrel Show on the Parade Grounds
Chuckwagon from the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum on the Parade Grounds and Outside Barracks
Mescalero Apache Dancers on the Parade Grounds in the morning and on the Stage in the afternoon
Spinners in the Officers’ Quarters
“Grand Army of the Republic” at the Commanding Officers Quarters
Garrison Ladies Crafts at the Commanding Officers Quarters
Authors and Book Signings on the Museum Porch
Billy the Kid Outlaw Gang at the Guardhouse
Arts, Antiques, Crafts Vendors, Silent Auction at the Quarter Masters
Admission to Fort Stanton Live is $10 for adults and $5 for children 16 and younger. Free admission is offered at the visitor center to Museum of New Mexico Foundation members, NM disabled veterans, and NM foster families. Purchase tickets online at my.nmculture.org/56498/56528.
