Native American Artisans Summer Youth Show
The History Museum hosts its annual Native American Artisans Portal Summer Youth Show and Sales on Sat. & Sun., July 18 & 19, 10 a.m. - 4p.m. featuring art and crafts by artists ages five to 17 who specialize in a variety of artistic mediums. The youth will be showcasing and selling their work in the Courtyard of the Palace of the Governors. The event fosters the development of young artists who are descendants of current Native American Artisans Portal Program members and celebrates the importance of the continued traditions of Native American artistry.
The Youth Show provides the community and visitors a chance to support the talents from the next generation of Native American artists and craftspeople.
Admission to the Summer Youth Show is FF. Regular admission applies to visit the rest of the museum. Enter through the “blue gate” or the museum’s main entrance on Lincoln Avenue.
