CIRCLES EXPLORERS | AUGUST 2023

The Explorers kicked off August with a Silver City Adventure, August 3 - 6. Upon arrival we visited Hosana Eilert, professional weaver, for a demo and talk. The next day was spent at the Western New Mexico University Museum to view their amazing Mimbres pottery. The third day was spent exploring the Gila Cliff Dwellings and our last day we spent the morning at the Mimbres Historic site. The Bear Mountain Lodge offered the loveliest ranch style hospitality, complete with long horns on the front lawn as we drove up. Check out our photos from the adventure below.
