Artist Talk & Wire Weaving Demonstration with Hlengiwe Dube

Dube frequently collaborates with museums both domestically and internationally, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Yale University School of Art, the Phansi Museum, Johannesburg Art Gallery, and the Durban Art Museum, among others. Her works are included in exhibitions and the permanent collections of many institutions, notably Ngqikithi yokuPhica / Weaving Meanings: Telephone Wire Art from South Africa, currently on display at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This event is presented in conjunction with MOIFA’s current exhibition, Ngqikithi yokuPhica / Weaving Meanings: Telephone Wire Art from South Africa, on display through March 30, 2026.
