Conversations with Icons-Andrea Fisher
Offsite
Local icon Andrea Fisher moved to Santa Fe in the early 1980s and, in 1993, opened Andrea Fisher Fine Pottery on April Fools’ Day. Her museum-quality gallery presents an exceptional selection of Native American pottery from the Southwest alongside masterworks from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico. Works are thoughtfully organized by pueblo, featuring singular pieces dating from the 1880s to the present day.
On May 21, join a small group of lucky guests for an intimate afternoon of conversation and refreshments at Fisher’s remarkable 650-year-old home (built circa 1350!). When she’s not running her gallery, Fisher devotes herself to preserving the historic house, collecting folk art, and cultivating a stunning garden of cactus and succulents.
