Fleece Blanket Fringing Workshop

Come learn how to add yarn fringe to polyester fleece blankets with Tessa Riley from Jemez Pueblo at Jemez Historic Site. As she demonstrates her work, you can follow along with her to learn how to add different colored yarns using different fringe designs to the edges of Native-patterned fleece blankets. Materials will be provided, and participants can take home the blankets to finish and keep. There will be a half-hour lunch break, so bring your own lunch or try a local restaurant in Jemez Springs. Enjoy time with Tessa and make new friends as well! Space is limited to only 10 people so call 575-829-3530 to register. The workshop is free.
