
Fort Stanton Living History
See history come alive during Fort Stanton Historic Site’s Living History Day. Watch a flag raising ceremony at 10 a.m., take a tour of the internment camp at 11 a.m., and listen to Fort Stanton’s Museum Technician give a presentation about Living History 101 at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
About the lecture: Do you have an interest or passion for history? Would you like to learn how to use that passion for a new hobby? Our Museum Technician will present on how to get started in living history. Learn about the hobby, get to know the basics, and find out the best places to conduct research.
Admission to the site and activities is $7 for adults and free to children 16 and younger, Native/Tribal Affiliations, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, and MNMF members.
