Learn about past and modern perspectives of astronomy from an Indigenous point of view at "Looking to the Skies," led by Instructional Coordinator Marlon Magdalena. Marlon will discuss how Southwestern Indigenous people observed and believed about the world above them and how the worlds above and around them are connected and related. Visitors will have the chance to take a closer look at the sun using special sun viewing telescopes. Today we will be featuring a special craft activity honoring dads for Father’s Day weekend!

This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, Tribal members, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, MNMF members, and Friends of the Coronado Historic site members.
