Nature Journaling with Mesilla Valley Audubon Society
Nature journaling is the practice of recording observations of nature using words, pictures, and numbers. Learn how to connect more deeply with nature through nature journaling with Cheryl Fallstead, a Nature Journaling Educator with the Wild Wonder Foundation, and co-leader of the MVAS Nature Journal Club. The workshop will include an introduction to nature journaling, time for recording observations, and a sharing session. You don’t have to be an artist, writer, or scientist to become a nature journaler! Just bring your curiosity and love of nature, plus paper or a sketchbook and mark-making tools such as pencils, pens, or colored pencils. If you already have it, a travel watercolor set works great.
