Palace Avenue First Friday Art Walk

Join us for a special First Friday Artwalk event that blends history, identity, and connection. In Reflections on History, visitors encounter historic photographs displayed on mirrored surfaces, inviting them to see themselves within New Mexico’s evolving narrative.  In honor of Valentine’s Day, bring a partner, friend, or date and participate in our “I Am” poem activity, a creative exploration of identity designed to spark conversation and deepen connection. Discover who you are, who they are, and what you have in common — all while engaging with art and history in a fresh, interactive way. Admission is FREE during First Friday Art Walk.

This exhibit was thoughtfully designed in collaboration with the New Mexico Commission for the Blind, ensuring a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors who are blind or have low vision. Everyone is invited to participate fully in the evening’s activities.
