Palace Press Presents: Visiting Artist Lecture Series - Free with Admission
The Art and Practice of Wonder: Artist Talk with Julie Chen
The New Mexico History Museum is delighted to host visiting artist Julie Chen as our distinguished speaker on the contemporary letterpress and handmade books for the inaugural Palace Press Presents: Visiting Artist Lecture Series.
This biannual event features public presentations and programs by experts in the field of book arts, letterpress, and printing history. Programs at the Palace Press celebrate the centuries old history of printing in New Mexico and highlight contemporaries in the fine press and book arts community. In addition to the public lecture, our visiting artist will print a series of broadsides to be sold/auctioned by the Palace Press for funds to sustain the Visiting Artist program.
