Remedios Workshop - Creative Practice

Join Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA), at Los Luceros Historic Site for a hands-on workshop that explores creativity through everyday materials, transforming used tea bags and simple household items into textured, expressive works of art. Rooted in the spirit of remedios, or remedies, this class honors the idea that healing, memory, and beauty can be found in what we often discard. Participants will prepare and use tea bags as natural stain and collage material, create texture through layering and tearing, combine household materials to make simple assemblage and mixed-media compositions. No previous experience is necessary. All materials are provided.
