Here, Now and Always: Opening Celebration Dinner

Saturday, June 25, 6 p.m.Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

You are invited to join us for a special celebration at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. After years of hard work and millions of dollars in private and public investment, the reimagined Here, Now and Always exhibition will open to the public this July. In honor of this momentous occasion, the Museum of New Mexico Foundation is hosting a celebratory benefit event at the museum on Saturday, June 25 at 6 p.m. The evening includes an exhibition preview and Pueblo-feast style dinner on Milner Plaza prepared by Norma Naranjo of The Feasting Place. The meal will be prepared with foods grown by Norma and her husband Hutch on their farm in Santa Clara Pueblo. The event will also include special performances led by Sheila Rocha, Chair of the Performing Arts Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Giant puppetry, performance installations and more will fill the evening with storytelling inspired by the exhibition. Special guests of honor will be seated at each table, adding to a truly special celebration of Indigenous arts and culture. Individual tickets for this event are $500 per person and sponsorships start at $2,500. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture's educational programs and exhibitions. For more information contact Lauren Paige, Director of Leadership Giving for the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture at lauren@museumfoundation.org or 505.982.2282
