Leave a Legacy. Shape the Future.

Some of the most meaningful gifts are those that continue making a difference long into the future.

When you include the Museum of New Mexico Foundation, or one of the cultural institutions we support, in your estate plans, you help ensure that New Mexico’s extraordinary art, history, culture and traditions will be preserved and shared with generations to come. Your gift can support exhibitions and education, collections and conservation, historic sites, archaeology and the many programs that connect people to the stories and creative traditions of New Mexico.

There are many ways to create a planned gift. You might include a gift in your will or trust, name the Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement account or other asset or explore other gift options that may align with your financial and philanthropic goals. A planned gift can be flexible and can often be made without affecting your current income or assets.

When you notify us of your plans, you become a member of the Legacy Society. You join a community of museum donors, community leaders, volunteers, artists and others who believe in preserving these remarkable institutions for the future. Legacy Society members are invited to exclusive gatherings and receive special recognition at our museums. You can read more donor stories here.

Whether you have already included the Foundation in your plans or are simply beginning to explore your options, we would be honored to talk with you. Let us help you discover a meaningful way to make a difference that lasts.
