REVENUE
Last fiscal year, our General Membership program exceeded expectations finishing at $901,000, more than $150,000 above our goal. Each year, our revenue goal is set at the prior year's results, meaning our FY24 goal for this program is $900,000. We are already off to a great start with more than $117,000 received in July, exceeding our projection of $88,000.
CAMPAIGNS
We can attribute strong revenue results to our loyal, renewing members. More than 72% of members return to membership year after year. We also had extremely successful spring and late-summer upgrade campaigns, which focused on Vladem Contemporary-inspired benefits and premiums, including a free inscribed brick at Vladem Contemporary.
We're also utilizing new member acquisition efforts such as employing a reputable telefundraising firm to call current members to encourage them to upgrade or to dropped members to ask them to come back to membership. Also, in July we'll deploy a robust email marketing campaign and also a 25,000 piece direct mail campaign.
August kicks-off our advertising campaigns leading up to the opening of Vladem Contemporary, with a Member Preview set to take place on Friday, September 22. Be on the lookout for weekly ads promoting membership in Pasatiempo, online ads on social media, along with other mediums such as online video advertising.
With this, we hope to build excitement around the Vladem Contemporary and boost our membership from 8,000 to 10,000 households.
EVENTS
Our next event will be on Friday, August 25 in the Santa Fe Railyard for the Lensic360 concert with Big Sam's Funky Nation and Shake Alert, sponsored by the New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary and the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. Come by and say "hi" at our tent, click here.
