Wow, what an opening we had for the New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary! We hosted the all-member preview on Friday, September 22, and welcomed nearly 3,000 members into the new building. In addition to being able to see the inaugural exhibition, Shadow and Light, members enjoyed food by Cowgirl BBQ, Oasis paletas, drinks and snacks by Allsups, two performances by New Mexico School for the Arts students, music by DJ Jeremiah, hands-on activities in the studio and a new shop!

We could not be happier about the turnout and have spent the last week catching our breath! We are starting to plan for our second quarter plans which will include new member events, holiday promotions, shopping opportunities and more. Stay tuned for news and announcements in the coming weeks.

NEXT EVENT
Our next member event is this Friday, October 6 at the New Mexico Museum of Art Plaza Building. Members have the opportunity to view the new exhibition, Rick Dillingham: to Make, Unmake and Make Again, from 4-5 p.m. before the Friday night opening that follows from 5-7 p.m.

REVENUE
General Membership is doing well, trending about $33,000 ahead of goal with $313,000 in to date.
