New Mexico Museum of Art | August 2026

Join the New Mexico Museum of Art at their annual Santa Fe Indian Market Create Station, free to everyone on Saturday, August 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the museum.

Take a break from viewing the work of so many amazing artists and create some artwork of your own! Free art supplies and structured activities will be provided by the New Mexico Museum of Art along with other museums from the Department of Cultural Affairs.

Did you know? The museum’s Create Station was developed as a way of meeting people where they were – out in the community! Every year, you can find MOA’s Education team at PRIDE Santa Fe and the SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market. This year, the Create Station for Indian Market is connected to the exhibition O’Powa O’Meng: The Art and Legacy of Jody Folwell, on view through September 13, 2026.

At the Railyard that weekend? Visit the Vladem Contemporary to see Continuum: Blindfall, First Strike feat. Virgil Ortiz and Eric Garcia, on view through October 18, 2026. Then, save the date for an Artist Talk with Virgil Ortiz on Friday, August 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the New Mexico School for the Arts.
