New Mexico Museum of Art | November 2025
The museum is pleased to announce its newest exhibition, Lucy R. Lippard: Notes from the Radical Whirlwind, which opened on October 24, 2025 at the Vladem Contemporary. This is a dynamic exhibition honoring Lippard’s prolific career as one of the most influential figures in contemporary art and cultural activism over the past sixty years. It will be on view through August 9, 2026.

In honor of the exhibition, please join us on November 7, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Plaza Building for a conversation between Lucy R. Lippard and Suzanne Lacy, two internationally celebrated activists and feminists whose careers and actions enacted vital change within the art and cultural realm, and beyond. The event is ticketed, please visit nmartmuseum.org/events to learn more.
