Join us in the educational classroom between 11am-2pm for an artist demonstration by Myron Denetclaw (Diné) and a hands-on painting activity! 

Myron Denetclaw (1999- ) is a Diné painter of the Navajo Nation from Shiprock, New Mexico. Denetclaw paints in the style of traditional Diné painters Harrison Begay and Beatien Yazz. His earliest start, Yaqui artist Amado Peña, cites as a beginning influence. Denetclaw has received awards and accolades for his paintings, including Best of Show awards from a variety of respectable institutions. Denetclaw is currently an MFA graduate student at the University of Nevada Reno.

This program is in conjuction with the exhibition Engaging the Future: The Goodman Fellowship Artists, on view until September 2025.
