MEMBERSHIP | August 2024

The FY24 Membership results are in. General Membership raised $939,000 last year against our goal of $900,000. As we wrap up last year we’ve already completed our first month of FY25. July is a large revenue month, bringing in about $90,000.

For FY25, our fiscal year-end goal is $925,000. We are finalizing our work plans now which outline how we’ll raise $925,000 through member retention, recapture, upgrade and acquisition. As part of the FY25 plans we design our calendar of member events.

Our next event is a Member Monday, taking place on August 26 at the New Mexico History Museum and New Mexico Museum of Art to showcase the concurrent exhibitions about Santa Fe’s Old Man Gloom, Zozobra, who celebrates his 100th birthday this year.

We are also in the final stages of producing our fall issue of Member News which will mail to members in early September.

On the technology front, last month the front desk admissions teams, began scanning membership cards to let us know when members visit the museums. This information will help us better communicate to members about the museums and events they visit most.

Also, the next time you’re in the Vladem and History Museum Shop check out our Member Kiosk. Here you can join, renew, check your membership status, make a gift to a museum or submit a customer service inquiry.

Lastly new to the shops, we launched a special one-time 20% discount for first time members who join on the spot. In three short weeks this has already proven to be a popular offering with many new members joining.
