REVENUEUnofficial numbers show General Membership finishing FY23 at $900,000, $150,000 above our $750,000 goal. I thank our generous members who have renewed or rejoined after pausing their memberships in 2020 and for those who have generously Stepped Up to a higher level. We are extremely grateful to be in this position. I also would like to recognize my team, Brittny Wood, Saro Calewarts, Olivia McLendon, Amy Jane Banfield, our numerous contractors, our support team in Finance and Operations, and our staff at the Museum Shops.EVENTSOur next Member Preview is on Saturday, July 15 for Horizons: Weaving Between the Lines with Diné Textiles at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. The exhibition explores the connections between weaving and photography as modes of engagement with place in the American Southwest and examines each as a way of seeing and knowing Dinétah, the Navajo homeland. Member Previews are free and open to all members and include food, refreshments, entertainment and a chance to see the exhibition before it opens to the public.CAMPAIGNSOn July 10 the telemarketing firm SD&A will call our members to request an increase in membership. This is last component in our two-mailing, two email campaign. This campaign has performed well with more than 275 members Stepping Up to a higher level generating more than $60,000 in revenue.
